| CLEAN AND FRESH
CARPET CLEANING METHODS |
 |
| Our company is trained
and experienced in all methods of carpet cleaning.
Each method has distinct advantages in certain
situations. Each method may be totally inappropriate
in other situations. We have found consistently
that in most situations, there are two cleaning
methods that work most effectively - high performance
hot water extraction steam cleaning,
and Encapuclean Low Moisture Encapsulation Cleaning.
These are likely the methods we would employ in
your facility. |
 |
| High Performance
Hot Water Extraction Cleaning |
 |
| A cleaning solution
pretreatment is applied to high traffic areas
to dissolve and dislodge ground in soiling. This
cleaning solution is specially selected based
upon the construction of your carpet and your
specific soiling conditions. After this pre-treatment
has had the proper dwell time, a hot cleaning
solution is injected under pressure into the face
yarn of the carpet and extracted with powerful
vacuum suction. This provides a rinsing action
and leaves your carpeting clean, refreshed, and
virtually residue free. High performance hot water
extraction cleaning employs a truck mounted cleaning
machine or a high powered portable extractor.
Typical drying times in a commercial cleaning
environment are from 1 to 6 hours. |
 |
| Encapuclean Low
Moisture - Encapsulation Cleaning |
 |
| A special formulated
cleaning solution is carefully applied to the
carpeting. Subsequently, this solution is aggressive
counter rotating or rotary brush. The agitation,
combined with the low moisture cleaning solution,
dissolve and dislodges ground-in soil from the
carpet fibers. The encapsulation nature of the
cleaning solution holds the dissolved and dislodge
soil in suspension and prevents the soil from
becoming re-dry, subsequent dry vacuuming removes
theencapsulated soils. Special additives to the
cleaning solution can be used to help prevent
the carpet from resoiling too fast and to replenish
the stain resistant properties of the carpeting.
Typical drying times for this method are less
than one hour. |
 |
| On various occasions,
our carpet care specialists may determine due
to carpet texture or construction, soiling conditions,
environmental conditions, or budgetary considerations
that another carpet cleaning method would be best
used as all or part of your carpet maintenance
program. Rest assured, we are carefully trained
in the proper application of every carpet cleaning
method we employ. |
 |
| Bonnet Cleaning |
 |
| Bonnet cleaning is
very fast and efficient. An absorbent pad (bonnet)
is placed under a low speed rotary floor machine.
A cleaning solution is sprayed onto the carpet,
followed by spin cleaning with the bonnet pad.
This is a maintenance method and is usually not
suitable for deep cleaning or restoration cleaning. |
 |
| Rotary and Dry
Foam |
 |
| Rotary and dry foam
employs a high quantity of shampoo foam that is
directly applied to the carpeting and agitated
mechanically. A rotary floor machine or a dry
foam machine with a reel type brush may be used.
These methods may be used as a special pre-agitation
before a hot water extraction rinse, or used as
a maintenance method without a rinse. |
 |
| Absorbent
Compound (Dry Powder) Extraction |
 |
Absorbent compound
(dry powder) extraction applies a dry substance
that has been impregnated with cleaning solvents
and other agents to the carpet, and is then subsequently
agitated into the carpet pile with a counter rotating
brush. These agents absorb or attach to soil particles,
and are vacuumed out of the carpeting. The
best application of this method is in areas where
frequent maintenance of lightly soiled carpets
is reqired, but round the clock foot traffic prevent
any downtime. |
